Play it Safe®
My Pool Pal recognizes the importance of safe swimming environments and are working hard to educate the public, along with organizations such as Safe Kids, YMCAs, the Red Cross, CDC, Florida Swim Academy, major theme parks, various water parks and state agencies to educate the public about healthy swimming tips.
A major change occurred in the swimming safety
Industry, when on March 29, 2002 a federal mandate was issued requiring all children under the age of 13 to wear a Personal Flotation Device (PFD) while boating. Since that day, Aqua Force has worked with multiple organizations to educate the public on the proper use of PFDs, including:
- U.S. Coast Guard
- U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary
- National Association of State Boating Law Administrators
- National Safe Boating Council
- U.S. Power Squadrons
A word to parents - relax. Small children sense the tension of a nervous adult in the water. The calmer you are, the better their learning experience. Be patient, communicate in a reassuring tone, and allow each child to progress at his or her own pace.
The My Pool Pal Flotation Swimsuit is NOT a U.S. Coast Guard approved life preserver and cannot be represented as such. My Pool Pal Flotation Swimsuit must be used with adult supervision at all times. Assistance must be provided for small children learning to balance in the water.
